Connecting the ColorPASS
3. Power on the ColorPASS by pressing the power button on the front panel.
The power supply automatically senses the correct voltage. Allow startup to proceed
without interruption. Do not press any buttons on the Control Panel while the system is
starting.

4. Wait for the ColorPASS to reach the Idle screen to confirm that the ColorPASS is
operating properly.
When the ColorPASS reaches the Idle screen, you are ready to shut down and connect
the network and copier interface cables (as described on page 3-3). Setup options should
be configured after making these connections. The network administrator is responsible
for configuring Setup according to the network and user environment. For Setup
information, refer the network administrator to the Configuration Guide.
5. Following a successful startup, shut down the ColorPASS (see page 3-16).
