Accessing components
TO REMOVE THE FRONT PANEL
1. Make sure the ColorPASS is standing in its normal operating position.
2. Shut down the ColorPASS (see page 4-4).
3. Remove the left and right side panels (see page 4-5).
4. Bend the front panel tabs outward to release them from the slots in the chassis.
5. Rotate the front panel away from the chassis.
Take care when rotating the front panel away from the chassis, as the power, reset, and
speaker cables are still connected to the front panel.
If you need to remove the front panel completely, (for example, when replacing the front
panel with a new one), disconnect the power, reset, and speaker cables from connectors
on the motherboard, thread the cables out through the hole in the front of the chassis,
and then remove the front panel completely. Transfer the cables to the new front panel as
described on page 4-10.
