Configuring the Cisco uBR7200 Series Manually Using
Configuration Mode
You can configure the CiscouBR7200seriesrouter manually if you prefer not to use the Setup facility
or AutoInstall. Complete the following steps:
Step1 Connect a console terminal to the console port on the I/O controller.
Step2 When asked if you want to enter the initial dialog, respond no to go into the normal operating mode of
the router:
Would you like to enter the initial dialog? [yes]: no
Step3 After a few seconds, the user EXEC prompt (Router>) appears. Type enable to enter enable mode
(configuration changes can be made only in enable mode):
Router> enable
The prompt changes to the enable mode (also called privileged EXEC) prompt:
