The Cisco uBR7200 series routers support multiple port adaptors with Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and
Serial versions. Enhancements and options are available in multiple Cisco IOS Software release trains.

Note Not all CiscouBR7200 series routers support all port adapters. Some port adapters must be at certain
revision levels to be used in the CiscouBR7246VXR router.
Note Cisco recommends using the most current release in a release train if possible.
Cable Interface Line Cards
The CiscouBR7200series supports the following cable interface line cards, all of which provide
connection to the hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) network.
Table1-6 provides a quick overview of the cable interface line cards that are supported with Cisco
uBR7200 series routers.
