6 Connect the fan cable to the connector on the power distribution board.
7 Follow the instructions in “Closing the server case” on page 44.
Important Make sure the arrow on top of the fan indicating airflow points to the
back of the chassis. The fan cable should exit the fan mudule toward
the back of the chassis.
Caution System fans are not hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing a
fan, you must first turn off the server and all peripheral devices
attached to the server, and remove the AC power cord(s) from the
power supply or wall outlet.
