The following table describes the OSPF Interface Configuration Menu options.

OSPF Interface Configuration Menu options
Command Description
aindex <0-2>
Configures the OSPF area index.
prio <0-255>
Configures the assigned priority value to the OSPF interfaces.
(A priority value of 255 is the highest and 1 is the lowest. A priority value of 0
specifies that the interface cannot be used as Designated Router (DR) or Backup
Designated Router (BDR).)
cost <1-65535>
Configures cost set for the selected path—preferred or backup. Usually the cost
is inversely proportional to the bandwidth of the interface. Low cost indicates
high bandwidth.
hello <1-65535>
Configures the interval in seconds between the hello packets for the interfaces.
dead <1-65535>
Configures the health parameters of a hello packet, which is set for an interval
of seconds before declaring a silent router to be down.
trans <1-3600>
Configures the transit delay in seconds.
retra <1-3600>
Configures the retransmit interval in seconds.
key <key string>|none
Sets the authentication key to clear the password.
mdkey <1-255>|none
Assigns an MD5 key to the interface.
enable
Enables the OSPF interface.
disable
Disables the OSPF interface.
delete
Deletes the OSPF interface.
cur
Displays the current settings for OSPF interface.
