Changing DNS Settings
Preferred DNS Server
Enter in the IP Address for the preferred DNS server when necessary. Check with the system adminis-
trator for the address.
The default value of [0.0.0.0] will appear when no IP Address is specified.
DNS Host Name
DNS Domain Name
Enter the name of the Network Domain that the machine is connected to.
To alter any of the DNS settings, follow these steps:
1 Open the TCP/IP Configuration page.
2 In the DNS section, select the field you wish to change.
3 Enter the new settings.
4 At the bottom of the page, type in the system password in the provided field.
5 Click [Apply].
● Changes do not take effect until you restart the copier. Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds after turning
off the main power switch before you turn the copier back on.
