Adding Paper to Paper Trays
Paper Tray (TRAY 1)
When the message NO PAPER or EMPTY appears in the Message Display, the paper tray is
empty. Add paper to the tray using the following procedure:

Remove the Manual Bypass Tray.

Open the Document Guide Plates.
3
Place the paper into the tray with the side to be copied
on facing up.
Note: The paper should be loaded no higher than
the (Maximum Level Indicator).

Slide the Document Guide Plates up against the edges
of the paper stack.
5
Replace the Manual Bypass Tray.

When a message appears to prompt you, press
the "Start" key to resume the machine operation.
