Follow the suggested actions in the order in which they are listed in the Action column until the problem is
solved.
See Chapter 7 “Parts listing, RS210 Types 6531, 6532, 6533, and 6534” on page 175 to determine which
components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are eld replaceable units (FRU).
If an action step is preceded by “(Trained service technician only),” that step must be performed only by
a trained service technician.
Sensor Sys Board Fault has
transitioned to critical from a less
severe state.
Error A sensor has changed to
Critical state from a less
severe state.
1. Check the system-event log.
2. Check for an error LED on the
system board.
3. Replace any failing device.
4. Check for a server rmware
update.
Important: Some cluster
solutions require specic code
levels or coordinated code
updates. If the device is part
of a cluster solution, verify
that the latest level of code
is supported for the cluster
solution before you update the
code.
5. (Trained service technician
only) Replace the system
board.
Sensor RAID Error has transitioned to
critical from a less severe state.
Error A sensor has changed to
Critical state from a less
severe state.
1. Check the hard disk drive
LEDs.
2. Reseat the hard disk drive for
which the status LED is lit.
3. Replace the defective hard
disk drive.
The Drive n Status has been removed
from unit Drive 0 Status.(n = hard disk
drive number)
Error A drive has been removed.
Reseat hard disk drive n.(n = hard
disk drive number)
The Drive n Status has been disabled
due to a detected fault.(n = hard disk
drive number)
Error A drive has been disabled

1. Run the hard disk drive
diagnostic test on drive n.
2. Reseat the following
components:
a. Hard disk drive
b. Cable from the system
board to the backplane
3. Replace the following
components one at a time, in
the order shown, restarting the
server each time:
a. Hard disk drive
b. Cable from the system
board to the backplane
c. Hard disk drive backplane
