To set the “Fax Ringer”:
If you want the machine’s ringer to alert you
when you receive a fax though you do not have
the optional handset, select “ON”.
Then press [Enter] to save the setting.

To set the “Volume”:
Select the desired volume for fax ringer, alarm,
key touch tone and complete beep using the
cursor key. Then press [Enter] to save the set-
ting.

To set the “Key Touch Tone”:
Select the mode you want and press [Enter].

Select the desired tone using the cursor key.
Then press [Enter] to save the setting.
If you want to set the tone for other mode,
repeat steps 6–7.
Note: Moving the cursor key, you can hear
each sound.

To set the “Complete Beep”:
Select the item you want and press [Enter].

Select the desired type of beep using the cursor
key. Then press [Enter] to save the setting.
If you want to set the type of beep for other
item, repeat steps 8–9.
Note: If you want to try to hear each sound,
press [Test].

To set the “Paper Jam Alarm”:
Select “ON” or “OFF” using the cursor key.
Then press [Enter] to save the setting.

to return to the standby mode.
