8-12 Receiving Faxes Chapter 8
Set the Fax/Tel Mode options as follows:
1. Follow steps 1 to 9 on pages 8-8 and 8-9.
2. Press Set.
Ex:
3. Use the numeric buttons to enter the time the unit waits before
ringing when it receives a call.
❏ You can select from 0 to 30 seconds.
❏ The factory default setting is eight seconds.

4. Press Set to register your setting.
5. Press Set again.
Ex:
6. Use the numeric buttons to enter the time the unit rings while
waiting for someone to pick up the handset or the handset of the
telephone or extension phone.
❏ You can select from 10 to 60 seconds.
❏ The factory default setting is 22 seconds.

7. Press Set to register your setting.
