config mac_notification ports
Description MAC address notificiation is used to monitor MAC addresses learned
and entered into the FDB.
Parameters <portlist> Specify a port or range of ports to be configured.
all – Entering this command will set all ports on the system.
enable / disable – These commands will enable or disable MAC
address table notification on the switch.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable port 7 for MAC address table notification:
DES-3550:4#config mac_notification ports 7 enable
Command: config mac_notification ports 7 enable
Success.

Purpose Used to display the switch’s MAC address table notification global
settings
Syntax
show mac_notification ports <portlist>
Description This command is used to display the switch’s MAC address table
notification global settings.
