6. Close the rear cover, making sure that it
latches securely.
The display should return to “Ready” and
the printer will be ready to resume printing.
1. Squeeze the latch at the upper left of the
rear panel and pull towards you to open the
rear cover of the printer.
If you are using a paper cassette extended
past the Letter/A4 setting, remove the
cassette before opening the rear cover.
Duplex Unit Jam
A “Duplex Unit Jam” message indicates that paper has jammed in the optional duplex unit of
the printer. Duplex Unit Jams can be cleared as follows:
