DENSITY SENSOR

A density sensor out of range error
was detected during a color
calibration.
The density sensor may be
dirty. Inspect and clean the
sensor (see Cleaning the toner
density sensoron page 149
for cleaning instructions).
DRUM ERROR
REPLACE KIT
An error has been detected with a

Replace the print drum kit.
DRUM LIFE LOW
ORDER KIT
The imaging drum is near the end of
its expected life.
Order a replacement drum kit,
and continue printing. See

accessorieson page 31.

The imaging drum has reached the
end of its expected life. See Printer
supplies and accessories on
page 31.
Replace the drum kit.
DUPLEX ERROR
CHECK DUPLEXER
An error has occurred in the duplex
printing accessory.
Verify that the duplex printing
accessory is correctly installed.
EIO DISK X
NOT FUNCTIONAL
The EIO disk is not working
correctly.
Remove the EIO disk from the
slot indicated. Call HP Support.
EIO X
INITIALIZING YYY

DO NOT
POWER OFF
The EIO device in slot

initializing. The

increment every 10 seconds during
this process.
