packageLog ZIP tool
The packageLog tool is a command line utility that packages Tivoli Intelligent
Orchestrator logs into a single ZIP file that you can send to the IBM Tivoli
Software Support team. The ZIP file includes the log information that Tivoli
Support representatives need to access so they can help diagnose a problem.
Location
Windows
%TIO_HOME%\tools
Where %TIO_HOME% is the Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator home directory.
UNIX $TIO_HOME/tools
Where $TIO_HOME is the Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator home directory.
Syntax
Windows
packageLogs.cmd full_path_of_the_log–directory, where
full_path_of_the_log–directory is the location of the log directory that
includes the log files you want to zip and send to Tivoli Support.
The packageLogs tool automatically determines the default location of the
logs. However, if the logs have been placed in a directory other than the
default, you can use this variable to specify the unique directory location.
UNIX packageLogs.sh full_path_of_the_log–directory, where

Returned file
The tool produces a ZIP file LogPackagetimestamp.zip, located in the current
directory, where timestamp is a time stamp assigned by the system when the
packageLog tool completes the ZIP file.
Level Reporting tool for the WebSphere Application Server
platform
The Level Reporting tool is a command line utility that scans your system for
WebSphere Application Server platform products, and then builds a report file that
details the products that it found as well as their respective maintenance levels.
The tool is not intended to displace the current native level utilities such as
versionInfo and db2level that are provided by the individual products. Rather, the
tool is designed to produce a report file that includes the software level
information that IBM Tivoli Software Support representatives need to access so
they can help diagnose a problem.
