Chapter 6. Middleware prerequisite log files
This chapter describes the directory locations for the following log files:

Installation log files for prerequisites
When you install the prerequisite software for Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator using
the graphical installer, the log files for the installation process are created in the
Tivoli_common_directory\GPX directory, where:
v The default value for the Tivoli_common_directory is:
Windows
C:\Program Files\ibm\tivoli\common
UNIX or Linux
/var/ibm/tivoli/common
v
GPX is the three-digit product code for the prerequisite installer.
Installation logs for individual prerequisites
The installation logs for each software prerequisite are also located in the
Tivoli_common_directory\GPX directory.
WebSphere Application Server
The WebSphere Application Server logs are:
v base.log
v websphere.stdout
v websphere.stderr
v websphereFixPack.stdout
v websphereFixPack.stdout
DB2 Universal Database
The log files for IBM DB2 Universal Database Enterprise Edition 8.2 are:
v db2server.log
v db2server.trace
v db2Server.stderr
v db2Server.stdout
v db2ServerHotfix.stderr
v db2ServerHotfix.stdout
v db2client.log
v db2client.trace
v db2Client.stderr
v db2Client.stdout
v db2wi.log
