Tivoli Directory Server problem determination process:

Verifies whether the IBM Tivoli
Directory Server database was
successfully started. Can be used to
start and stop the IBM Tivoli
Directory Server. To be able to use
the ibmdirctl command, the IBM
Directory Administrator service must
be running.
ibmdiradm

/usr/ldap/bin
Verifies whether the IBM Directory
Administrator service is running.
ldapsearch
v On Windows:
C:\IBM\ldap\bin
v On UNIX:
/usr/ldap/bin
Verifies whether IBM Tivoli Directory
Server is running, configured
properly, and responding to queries.
update_xmi.cmd

Updates the base domain, basedn, for
