2.3 REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE FOR POWER BLOCK UNIT
This section describes the replacement procedure for the power block unit mounted in the
controller.
Four types of power block are available as described below.
1. 1KC: Power block for large robot (six axes)
2. 1KD: Power block for small robot (six axes)
3. 1KL: Optional power block for large motor (single axis)
4. 1KR: Optional power block for small motor (single axis)
Replacement procedures for the 1KC and 1KD are described in this section.
2.3.1 1KC POWER BLOCK UNIT
DANGER
High voltage is applied in the power block unit. Do
not touch any connector pin during replacement.
CAUTION
Power block unit weighs approx. 20kg. Be careful not to
incur back injury, etc. when removing the power block unit.
WARNING
Do not remove the screws or cover from the front of the
power block unit. This is a high voltage area and there is
a danger of electric shock.
DANGER
Before starting replacement work, turn OFF the control
power and wait at least seven minutes.
