Power Switch
The power switch supplies electricity to the printer. It has two
positions: On (|) and Off (O).

Notes:
1. When you turn the power On (|), a power-on test runs. For the
description of the power-on test, see “Power-On Test” on
page 3-4.
2. Always wait 10 seconds after turning the power from Off (O) to
On (|).
3. Anytime you turn the power On (|), you should verify the top of
form position before running a job. See Chapter 1, “Setting Up
the 4230 Printer” for adjusting the top of form position for your
forms device.
Warning: If you turn the power Off (O) while data is in the printer
buffer (a temporary storage area) or coming from the computer to the
printer, you will lose data.
