7-28 Switching Commands
show lag
This command displays an overview of all link aggregations (LAGs) on the switch.
Format show lag <logical slot.port|all>
Logical Slot.Port The logical slot and the logical port.
Lag Name The name of this lag. You may enter any string of up to 15 alpha-
numeric characters.
Link State Indicates whether the Link is up or down.
Admin Mode May be enabled or disabled by selecting the corresponding line
on the pull-down entry field. The factory default is enabled.
Link Trap Mode This object determines whether or not to send a trap when link
status changes. The factory default is enabled.
STP Mode The Spanning Tree Protocol Administrative Mode associated
with the port or lag. The possible values are:
Disable - Spanning tree is disabled for this port.
Enable - Spanning tree is enabled for this port.
Mbr Ports A listing of the ports that are members of this lag, in slot.port
notation. There can be a maximum of 8 ports assigned to a given
lag.
Port Speed
config lag create
This command configures a new LAG and generates a logical slot and port number for it. Display
this number using the “show lag” on page 28.
Note: Before including a port in a LAG, set the port physical mode. See “config port
physicalmode” on page 27.
Format config lag create <name>
config lag addport
This command adds one port to the LAG. The first interface is a logical slot and port number of a
configured LAG.
Note: Before adding a port to a LAG, set the physical mode of the port. See “config port
physicalmode” on page 27.
