S-Cmd 69 EXIT S-COMMAND PROGRAMMING
When you enter the programming mode, the controller will copy the current system EEPROM data into the system RAM (See
S-Command 66 for a detailed description on system memory). After you make changes, you can exit the programming mode
(lock the controller) and save your changes to the EEPROM or recall the old data from the EEPROM, not saving your changes.
If no S-Commands are executed for 5 minutes, a timer will automatically lock the controller for you and discard your changes.

S-Cmd 70 TELEPHONE OUTGOING CALL MODE
This command is used to set up how the controller operates when making outgoing telephone calls. Outgoing calls operate
under the rules determined by modes 0 through 6. If you are operating with a full duplexed mobile and using mode 2, you can
listen to the caller while you are talking on the repeater. In mode 3, other people on the repeater will not be able to hear you
talk to the caller. Mode 4 is the same as mode 3 except that a tone is added to the repeater TX when you are transmitting to the
caller.

STORAGE: RAM/EEPROM
PARAMETERS: Mode 0 =
Off:
Disable outgoing calls, no telephone calls can be made.
Mode 1 =
Half Duplex:
Telephone audio is muted when the repeater receiver is active. This mode is
useful if you want to be able to mute the audio from the telephone by keying on the repeater
input.
Mode 2 =
Full Duplex:
Telephone audio and repeater audio are mixed at the transmitter. Useful if you
are operating with a full duplex mobile.
Mode 3 =
Mute Receiver:
Telephone and repeater audio are muted when the receiver is active. This
mode is useful if you do not want someone to listen to radio side of the telephone conversation.
Mode 4 =
Cover Tone:
A cover is added to the repeater audio when the receiver is active. This mode
makes it clear that the repeater is in use, despite muted audio.
Mode 5 =
Monitor:
Used to monitor the repeater receiver over the telephone without the telephone audio
going out to the repeater transmitter.
Mode 6 =
Tone Remote:
Tone Remote linking over telephone line. This mode is useful for linking two
RI-300/RI-310 repeater controllers over a standard telephone line. Use this mode to auto send a
tone remote connect tone to the called controller.
DEFAULT: Mode 1, Half Duplex
EXAMPLE: 70 2 Set the telephone outgoing mode to duplex.
