Indicators Error LED Possible Cause Recovery
On: 0.5 sec.
Off: 0.5 sec.
Front cover is open. Close the front cover.
RAM overflow or overrun has
occurred.
Press the PRINT/RESET
button (less than 5 seconds).
On: 0.5 sec.
Off: 2 sec.
Media jam has occurred. Remove the jammed media,
then open the front cover and
close it.
On: 1 sec.
Off: 0.5 sec.
Manual feed is empty. Load media in the manual feed.
On: 1 sec.
Off: 1 sec.
Media tray (standard) or lower
tray (2nd feeder) is empty.
Load media in the media tray
(standard) or lower tray (2nd
feeder).
Media tray (standard) is not
installed.
Install the media tray
(standard).
Off Toner is low. Replace the toner cartridge
soon.
Drum unit is wearing out. Replace the drum unit soon.
