6.1.7 Mailbox transmission
The fax can be sent to a recipient’s mailbox.
This is perfect for sending an important document to a specific person.

Note
Mailbox transmission is compatible with F code transmission. Machines
compatible with F codes can be specified as recipients for mailbox trans-
mission.
To fax using mailbox transmission
1 Position the document.
2 If necessary, change the resolution setting (p. 5-14).
3 Press the [Function] key.
4 Press the [3] key from the 10-key
pad.

Press the [Function] key 3 times to
select MAILBOX TX, and then press
the [Yes] key.
5 Specify the recipient, and then press
the [Yes] key. For details, refer to “Di-
aling” on page 5-3
A screen appears, allowing you to
specify the mailbox ID.
