2 Is the problem with tray 1? Go to step 3. Go to step 6.
3 Are connectors CN 35 and
CN36 on the printer controller
board properly connected?
Go to step 4. Properly
connect the
connectors.
4 Are connectors CN3 and CN1
on the expansion paper feed
control card, for tray 1,
properly connected?
Go to step 5. Properly
connect the
connectors.
5 Replace the tray 1 expansion
feeder control card. Does this
fix the problem?
Problem
solved.
Return the
tray 1
expansion
feeder control
card and
replace the
printer
controller
board. If the
problem
remains,
replace the
expansion
feeder cable
assembly.
6 Are connectors CN9, CN8,
CN7 and CN3 on the
expansion feeder control card
(for the problem tray and the
trays above and below)
properly connected?
Go to step 7. Properly
connect the
connectors.
