To set the Stabilizer function
If the image is incorrect, even after the gradation levels have been adjusted, set the
Stabilizer function, available on the Admin. Mode screen.
For details on adjusting the gradation levels, refer to To set the Gradation Adjust
function (p. 5-56).
Setting the PRT Area Functions
This function is used to adjust the image print position from the edge of the paper.
There are three PRT Area margin functions:
(Refer to p. 5-47)
This function adjusts the starting print position at the leading edge of the paper
(with regard to the paper feed direction).
(Refer to p. 5-50)
This function adjusts the starting print position (with regard to the paper feed
direction) from the left edge of the paper.
(Refer to p. 5-52)
This function adjusts the starting print position at the left edge of the paper for
the second side of a double-sided copy.
To set the PRT Area (Top Margin) function
The top margin of the printing area can be adjusted for each paper type.
The procedure described below is for 11 × 17 paper.
Note
The top margin of the print area is adjusted during manufacturing of the copier.
Normally, the top margin will not need to be adjusted.
