This system uses:

• One 128 Channel Echo Canceller
•Two Dual FIMs
• Two DSP Modules (21061/21161) for telecom support
• Two DSP Modules (21161) for 64 channels of compression
This provides:
• Eight DSP devices for telecom functions
• Eight DSP devices for 64 channels of compression
• 128 channels of Echo Cancellation
• Four External FIM connections
• Four ASU connections (CIM ports)
The four external FIM connections are for providing connectivity for up to four Peripheral Units
or up to eight NSUs. Note that there are two T1/E1 links per NSU.
