Preparing tapes for editing
In the case of insert editing, the black burst signal,
time code and CTL signal must be recorded for the
whole editing period in addition to the run-up period
for the assemble editing tape.

Press the VTR2 button to select VTR2, and press
the PLAY button while holding down the REC
button. VTR2 recording begins.

If the preset value has been set in the TC preset
mode (R-RUN), recording starts from the set value.

When color bars or test patterns are required on
the tape for insert editing, input the respective
signals and set the input selector to the applicable
position.

When T-END (tape end) is selected in step
2 for
preparing tapes for assemble editing, 1ST EDIT
recording continues until the tape end. This means
that the black burst signal, time code and CTL signal
can be recorded for the whole period.
