Audio cross channel editing
<Note>
Sound can be recorded on CH1 and CH2 channels
only.
Audio cross channel editing using the internal audio
memory can be performed by connecting an external
audio mixer.

Select CH2 as the setup menu item No.318 (AUD
MEM CH) setting.

Press the A1 and A2 buttons to turn on their lamps.
(CH1 and CH2 audio insert)

Set the edit points of VTR1 and VTR2.

Operate the audio mixer in such a way that the
VTR1 output signals (which are supplied to INPUT
A of the audio mixer) are output from the MIXER
CH1 OUT and MIXER CH2 OUT connectors.
(Turn down the input to INPUT B of the audio
mixer.)

Press the AUTO EDIT button to execute editing.
The same sound (VTR1 output) is insert recorded
onto CH1 and CH2 of VTR2. The same sound that
is recorded for about 20 seconds before the OUT
point is also stored in the internal memory at this
time.
