Cut editing operations
Preview
Preview is a rehearsal of the editing before the editing
is performed for real.
When the PREVIEW button is pressed, the event
indicated by the event number display lamp is
previewed.
The pictures and sound produced when editing is
actually performed will be played back as a simulation
on the VTR2 monitor, enabling them to be checked
out in advance.
What is played back is the length of tape from the
preroll point to the postroll point.
To repeat the preview from the start at any time
during preview:

Press the PREVIEW button again.
To set the OUT point before the position where it
is already set at any time during preview:
O
Press the MARK OUT button at the scene where
the OUT point is to be set.
To suspend preview and perform automatic
editing:
O
Press the AUTO EDIT button.
To recall the contents of the previous preview:
O
Press the LAST ED button.
Each time this button is pressed, the contents of the
previous preview and current preview are
alternately recalled.
