Purpose
Specifies the line spacing at n/216-inch increments.

Comment When
the n/216-inch line spacing control code is received, all line feeds fol

lowing
will be at n/216-inch line spacing until a new line spacing is selected
or
power is reset. The control code line spacing selection will override the conĆ
trol panel line spacing setting and the message display will reflect the line
spacing
in lines per inch. F
or a 50/216-inch line spacing,
the message display
would
reflect 4.3 lpi spacing.
The paper moves only in multiples of the current dot row spacing. If the disĆ
tance
to move is other than a multiple of the current dot row spacing, the re

mainder is added to the next paper motion command.
Caution
should be used when combining this control
code with other print at

tributes such as Elongated (Double High), Superscript, or Subscript; overlap
Ć
ping lines may occur. Printing at different horizontal and vertical densities
will
not overlap.
