System Configuration
The System Configuration Menu is used for setting global parameters.
1. Press the <Ç> and <È> or <Page Up> and <Page Down> keys to highlight a channel for a
device or computer and press <Enter> to select.
2. Please refer to the following section “System Configuration Menu Options” for instructions on
interpreting and editing the menu components.
3. When editing is complete, press <Enter> - the highlight will turn yellow.
4. Press <S> to save changes, or <Esc> to cancel changes.

System Configuration Menu Options:
1. Device ID
: Type desired name of device. This gives device a unique and meaningful name,
which is important with multiple Paragon units. The default name for a Paragon switch model
UMT8 is UMT8 Switch HWII.
2. Display All Computers
: By setting this option, the system administrator can allow or prevent
users to view all devices on the OSUI, whether or not the user has the security privileges to access
them. Default setting is No.
3. Logoff Time Out
: Amount of time in minutes before an inactive user is logged out of the Paragon
system. Default setting is Off/05 minutes.
The two fields of control are:
On/Off
: Use <Ç> and <È> keys to toggle On and Off.
Time
: Type a number from 01 to 99, or use <Ç> and <È> keys to change the number.
