4. Operation Mode: There are three modes: Use <Ç> and <È> keys to select “Private,” “Public
View,” or ““PC Share.” Default setting is Private.
Private
: A computer can be accessed exclusively by one user at a time.
Public View
: While one user is accessing a computer, another user can select and view that
user’s video. Status messages appear on user’s monitors when the Public View mode is
being exercised.
PC Share
: A computer can be selected and accessed by more than one user, but only one
user can be in control at any one time. If the user in control is idle for duration specified in
the PC Share Timeout field, another user can take control of the PC.
5. View Admin Silent:
When Public View Mode is exercised, the user in control of a computer is
notified when someone else views the user’s video. However, when P-View Admin Silent is set
to Yes, System Administrators can view other users’ videos without prompting a notification
message. Use the <Ç> and <È> keys to toggle Yes or No. Default setting is No.

6. PC Share Timeout
: If the Operation Mode is set to PC Share, and more than one user has selected
a computer, the first user to operate the console (keyboard or mouse) will have control of the
computer. However, another user can gain control of the computer after it has been idle for a
duration exceeding the Timeout limit. Default setting is 01 seconds.
7. Login Blank
: Blanks the Login screen to protect the monitor after user console is idle for a
specified amount of time in minutes. When this screen is blanked, press any key to bring back
the Login screen. Default setting is Off/05 minutes.
The two fields of control are:
On/Off
: Use the <Ç> and <È> keys to toggle On or Off.
Time
: Type a number from 01 to 99 or use the <Ç> and <È> keys to change the number.
8. Allow Blank Password
: This field controls whether a user may specify a blank password. Use
the <Ç> and <È> keys to toggle Yes or No. Default setting is No.
Note: If this field is set to No, a user may not set a blank password. A newly created
user has no password by default, unless the user or the administrator sets one.
9. Default Login Name Blank
: This field controls whether the default login name appears in the
user name field of the Login Menu. Use the <Ç> and <È> keys to toggle Yes or No. Default
setting is Yes (login name will not appear).
