User Configuration
The User Configuration Menu enables an administrator to add, delete, or edit user names and
security rights, and also displays the current connection status for each user.
1. Press the <Ç> and <È> or <Page Up> and <Page Down> keys to highlight a channel for a
device or computer and press <Enter> to select.
2. Please refer to the following section “User Configuration Menu Options” for instructions on
interpreting and editing the menu components.
3. When editing is complete, press <Enter> - the highlight will turn yellow.
4. Press <S> to save changes, or <Esc> to cancel changes.

User Configuration Menu Options:
1. User
: Login user name.
2. Name
: Displays and edits system user names (not case sensitive). Type up to 8 characters to
change a name.
Important: The preset user name admin cannot be changed.
3. Group: Displays group IDs of user. Please refer to “Paragon Security: Group ID Settings” on
page 81 for more information.
4. Adm
: Indicates whether user has administrator privileges. Use the <Ç> and <È> keys to toggle
Yes or No. Default setting is No.
