Setting Your FaxCentre to Send Toner Low

If you set the Notify Toner menu option to ON, when the toner
cartridge needs to be replaced, your machine automatically
sends a fax to your service company or the dealer to notify
them that your machine requires a new toner cartridge. This
feature will be activated only when the phone number of the
service company or the dealer is stored in your machine’s
memory.
Use the instructions below to activate this process.
Ø Press [Menu/Exit] and then repeatedly until ‘9.
MAINTENANCE’ appears on the display, then press [Enter].
Ø Press the or navigation keys repeatedly until
‘NOTIFY TONER’ is displayed on the lower line, then press
[Enter].
Ø Press the or navigation keys to select ‘ON’, then
press [Enter].
Ø Enter the your customer number (up to 20 digits) then press
[Enter].
Ø Enter the your customer name (up to 40 characters) then
press [Enter].
Ø Enter the service fax number to which your FaxCentre
sends the Notification fax message, then press [Enter].
Ø Enter the serial number of your FaxCentre, then press
[Enter].
NOTE: The FaxCentre serial number is located on the
machine, behind the front door. Refer to Chapter 1 - About this
Guide, page 1-4 for further information.
