Fax
Memory Transmission
Documents are automatically stored in memory and sent to a
remote station. Use this feature to send your documents to
multiple locations. After transmission, the documents are
automatically erased from the memory.
Ø Feed the document(s) face down into the ADF.
Ø Adjust the document settings if necessary. For details, see
“Adjusting Document Settings” on page 5-5.
Ø Press [Menu/Exit] and then repeatedly until ‘3:FAX
FEATURE’ appears on the display, then press [Enter].
Ø Press the or navigation keys repeatedly until
MEMORY
TX’ is displayed on the lower line, then press
[Enter].
Ø Enter the number of the remote machine using the number
keypad.
To enter the number, you can also press a one-touch button,
or press [Speed Dial] and enter a speed dial number
including a group dial number.
Ø Press [Enter] to confirm the number. The display asks you
to enter another fax number to send the document.
NOTE: A single broadcast (sending to multiple destinations) is
available for your FaxCentre, so the ’ANOTHER NO.’ prompt
does not appear if any broadcast is currently set up and is not
completed.
Ø Press the or navigation keys to display ’YES’ or
‘NO’ appropriately and press [Enter]. You can add up to 25
destinations.
NOTE: If use a group dial number, you can use only one, and
it must be the first entry.
The document will be scanned into the memory before
transmission. The LCD display shows the memory capacity
and the number of pages being stored in the memory.
The FaxCentre begins sending the document in order of the
numbers you entered.
