48  Continuous Bell Ringing
For printers capable of sounding an alarm, this option can alert the printer
attendant of important printed information. This option provides four
choices: (A) Disabled, (B) Both ULTRA and printer bells will ring,
(C)Only the printer bell will ring, and (D) Only the ULTRA bell will ring.
In order to maintain compatibility with older ULTRA firmware, the
ULTRA will also accept values of Y and N.
If this option is set to B, C or Y, when the coax host sends an SCS
2Fh character, the ULTRA will start to send BELL characters (07h ASCII
or 2Fh EBCDIC) to the printer once per second. To turn off bell ringing,
press the HOLD PRINT button on the ULTRA front panel. The default
value is A (No).
49  Eliminate DSC C0 05 Header
Some applications send these two DSC characters to the printer, but they
have no significance. When this option is set to Yes, C0 05 sequences are
ignored. The default value is No.
50  Alternate Host Enable/Disable
Determines which, if any, of the alternate host ports is enabled: (A)OFF,
(B) Both parallel and serial, (C) Serial only and (D) Parallel only. The
default value is (A), and this selection ensures that no data or noise will be
read from the alternate host ports.
51  DSC EM Generates CR/LF in Infinite Line Length
IBM specifies that the EM (End of Message) character will have the effect
of sending a CR/LF to the printer when the printhead is in any column other
than column one. Setting this option to No causes the ULTRA to conform
to this IBM specification, while setting it to Yes causes a CR/LF to be
sent to the printer whenever an EM is received, regardless of the printhead
position. The default value is No. This option has no effect unless Option
#1 (Column Width) has been set to 0, implying an infinite line length. Refer
to Section 15  DSC Data Streams for more information.
