4  DisplayWrite 370 Overstriking Off or User-defined
If overstriking was on previously and a [character-character] sequence is
detected in the data stream, this PFS is sent to the printer. Note: This is used
only when Option #15  Bold Print Emulation is set to (A) 3287 emulation
or (B) DisplayWrite 370 emulation. The Overstriking Off PFS will also be
sent to the printer when a ¢&4 [Trigger 1-ampersand-four] that the user
has embedded in the data stream is encountered by the ULTRA. If the user
is certain that the host never turns off overstriking, or if Option #15 has
been set to (C) None, the user may program this PFS for any purpose.
5  DisplayWrite 370 Underlining On or User-defined
If a [character-backspace-underline] sequence is detected in the data
stream, this PFS is sent to the printer. Note: This is used only when Option
#15  Bold Print Emulation is set to (A) 3287 emulation or (B) Display-
Write 370 emulation. The Underlining On PFS will also be sent to the
printer when a ¢&5 [Trigger 1-ampersand-five] that the user has embedded
in the data stream is encountered by the ULTRA. If the user is certain that
the host never turns on underlining, or if Option #15 has been set to (C)
None, the user may program this PFS for any purpose.
6  DisplayWrite 370 Underlining Off or User-defined
If underlining was on previously and a [character-non-backspace]
sequence is detected in the data stream, this PFS is sent to the printer. Note:
This is used only when Option #15  Bold Print Emulation is set to (A)
3287 emulation or (B) DisplayWrite 370 emulation. The Underlining Off
PFS will also be sent to the printer when a ¢&6 [Trigger 1-ampersand-six]
that the user has embedded in the data stream is encountered by the
ULTRA. If the user is certain that the host never turns off underlining, or if
Option #15 has been set to (C) None, the user may program this PFS for
any purpose.
7  PA1 Key (User-defined)
The contents of the PA1 Key PFS are sent to the printer when a ¢&7
[Trigger 1-ampersand-seven] that the user has embedded in the data stream
is encountered by the ULTRA. If Option #9  PA Key Usage is set to (B)
PFS, the PA1 Key PFS will be sent to the printer each time the PA1 Key on
the front panel is pressed. The user may program this PFS for any purpose.
