Panel Display
The web agent displays an image of the switch’s ports (FIG. 2). The Mode can be set to display different
information for the ports, including Active (i.e., up or down), Duplex (i.e., half or full duplex), or Flow Control
(i.e., with or without flow control). Clicking on the image of a port opens the Port Configuration page (see the
Port Configuration section on page 85).
Main Menu
Using the onboard Web agent, you can define system parameters, manage and control the switch, and all its
ports, or monitor network conditions. The following table briefly describes the selections available from this
program.

System Information Provides basic system description, including contact information
Switch Information Shows the number of ports, hardware/firmware version numbers, and power

Bridge Extension Shows the bridge extension parameters
IP Configuration Sets the IP address for management access

Set Startup Sets the startup files

Console Sets console port connection parameters

Logs Stores and displays error messages
System Logs Sends error messages to a logging process
Remote Logs Configures the logging of messages to a remote logging process
SMTP Sends an SMTP client message to a participating server
Reset Restarts the switch
SNTP
SNTP Configuration Configures SNTP client settings, including broadcast mode or a specified list of
servers
Clock Time Zone Sets the local time zone for the system clock

Configuration Configures community strings and related trap functions
Agent Status Allows SNMP to be enabled or disabled
