4. Printing Directly from Applications
(4) Place the T-shirt, with its print side on the top of Platen and the other side underneath the Platen, as shown below. The
Pretreatment must be applied first when you print on dark-colored T-shirts with White ink. (See "4-6-1. Applying the
Pretreatment".)

Print Side
Pay attention to the hems; neck, arm holes, tags, and the bottom.
The side edges may raise and hit the Print Head during printing operation. It is important to ensure the t shirt surface
is flat and smooth.
To align a T-shirt easily, you can print a grid on the Platen Sheet. It is in [ All Program ] > [ Brother GT-782 Tools ] >
[ Useful Tools ]. Grid14x16.arp is for the standard Platen 14x16. (See "3-3-5. Opening the Useful Tools".)
(5) Smooth the surface to remove wrinkles and threads with your hands. It is easier to smooth from the center of the shirt
outwards.
<Note>
If the surface of T-shirt is not smooth enough, the Obstruction Sensor may be activated
When placing a thick fabric such as a sweatshirt, keep its surface as flat as possible.
(6) Keep the sleeves and overflows on the T-shirt Tray to avoid jamming.
