Cannot install the printer driver
If the printer driver installation was interrupted and could not continue,
some possible causes and solutions are listed below.
Make sure that you followed the installation procedure
correctly
Follow the instructions in Getting Started to install the printer driver.
Make sure you select the correct method, based on the operating system
you are using Windows 98/Windows 95/Windows 2000 or Macintosh
(with standard USB interface support) and the type of cable that you are
using to connect the printer and computer.
Check the Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-ROM
The Setup Softaware & Reference Guide CD-ROM could be damaged.
Run the CD-ROM to see if it reads correctly.
Make sure no other applications are open and running
It is strongly recommended that you shut down all applications before
you run the printer driver installation program.
Make sure that your operating system is stable
A serious error could cause Windows or the Mac OS to become
unstable. If you are experiencing a problem with the printer driver
installation, re-start the computer by shutting it down, switching the
power off, and switching it on again. Then re-install the printer driver.
Check to see if the following message has been displayed
File cannot be found on the specified path or
disk.
Make sure you install the Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-ROM
and select the CD-ROM drive. The name of the drive (D:, E:, F:, etc.)
depends on the computer.
