Printout is excessively curled
The printed sheet is excessively curled, wrinkled or warped.
Determine if you are printing an image or picture that has a
dense colours
Printing an image or picture with a dense colours requires a large
amount of ink and could curl or wrinkle the paper. For such print jobs
we recommend using High Resolution Paper HR-101 or Glossy Photo
Paper GP-301. These sheets have specially coated surfaces designed to
increase the absorption of the ink which avoids curling or the wrinkling.
Special print media must be printed on the correct print side. (49)
Check Intensity setting in the printer driver
To reducing wrinkling and curling, reduce the amount of ink used in the
print job.
Lowering the Intensity setting
1.
Click the Start button, point to Settings, and click Printers.
2.
Right-click the Canon BJC-55 icon and select Properties.
3.
On the Main tab, click the Advanced button then click the Colour
tab.
4.
Slide the button on the Intensity slide bar to the left to reduce the
amount of ink used in the print job.
