Layout purpose and workflow
The Programming tool allows you to build content Timelines. X-Agora allows you to
create as many Timelines as you want in each X-Agora project. Because it was designed
for large-scale installations, X-Agora also allows you to playback multiple Timelines
simultaneously. Large-scale installations often have multiple screen spaces, and often
it is easier to compartmentalize content for each screen space on a dedicated Timeline.
This is where Timeline Groups are useful for such compartmentalization. Timeline
Groups allow you to group together multiple Timelines in order to control them simul-
taneously or assign them playback priority.
1. Create Timelines and Timeline Groups in the Timelines pane.
2. Add media from the Media Pane to the Timeline.
3. Editthe Timeline and media's properties in the Properties pane on the
right.
4. Add actions, if needed, from the Actions pane onto the Timeline.
5. Play back the Timeline using the Timeline Playback Controls.
