Master Player
One player must be the Master Player. This is the computer on which the X-Agora
Server application runs. The Master Player also receives the SMPTE signal, if needed.
To quickly identify the Master Player in your map, look for the player with a striped
background pattern, as shown in Figure X.

Main properties
Name:
A Player can be assigned a name, for mnemonic purposes.
Color:
A Player can be assigned a color, which is assigned to all
its connected Displays.
Host:
A Player runs on a physical machine, which must be refer-
enced here by using its host name or IP address.
Output Count:
Selectthenumber ofphysicaloutputs thatare tobe connec-
ted to this Player.
Licensing restricts the number of physical live inputs that
should be on a computer. See Player Types and Licenses in
Players Map(p.178), andsee Licensing(p.29) formore inform-
ation on licensing.
Identify Monitors:
Display an overlay on each monitor of this computer,
showing the X-Agora output index of that monitor.
Note
Monitorsthat are notconnectedto the optimal
GPU are not identified and cannot be used to
display Player windows.
Make Master Player:
Make this machine the Master Player, to which all other
Players will connect. The media, logic, and 3D objects of
the project will be synced to this Player.
