Scanning Your Aligned Document
Be sure to remove the protective film from both the grid
document guide and clear document guide before using them.
1. Lay the clear document guide on the scanner
document table with the document guide
holes over the scanner screw holes. Make
sure the larger document guide hole is on the
left side.
2. Place your document face up on the clear
document guide.
3. Place the grid document guide on top of
your document, aligning the document
guide holes over the scanner screw holes.
Make sure the larger document guide hole is
on the left.
4. Make sure your document is aligned with
the grid document guide. After aligning the
document to the proper position, use tape to
secure it in place. Repeat this step for every
document you want to scan, placing one
document next to another (do not overlap
them).
