1. Power off the server.

2. Attach an antistatic wrist strap.
3. Remove the top cover.
See “Remove the Top Cover” on page 67
4. Remove the shipping bracket.
Note – The shipping bracket is not required for normal system operation. Some
systems might not have a shipping bracket installed.
5. Open the release levers on either side of the memory mezzanine assembly.

6. Lift the memory mezzanine assembly up and out of the system.
Place the memory mezzanine assembly on an antistatic mat.
