LCS60 Configuration and Connection for SLIP Service
When a NAC is used, the remote user’s NAC ID is used in the ipas
script to reserve an IP address for that user. Therefore, when the
script prompts for User login Id, it is referring to the user’s
NAC ID. NAC user IDs are alphanumeric symbols up to nine
character long.
A user NAC ID can be allocated a unique reserved IP address for
each of the IP network security groups.
A sample session is shown in Screen 5-2. (Refer to the IP Address
Assignment by the LCS60 section in Chapter 1 for more information.)
