Decimal Mark Dot or Comma. Displays a number

12456,98 (comma mode). Dot
mode uses commas to separate
elements in lists and matrices, and
to separate function arguments.
Comma mode uses semicolons as
separators in these contexts.

and large font for general display.

Name
Enter a name for the calculator.
Textbook
Display
If selected, expressions and results
are displayed in textbook format
(that is, much as you would see in
textbooks). If not selected, expres-
sions and results are displayed in
algebraic format (that is, in one-
dimensional format). For example,
is displayed as
[[4,5],[6,2]]
in algebraic format.
Menu Display This setting determines whether the
commands on the
Math and CAS
menus are presented descriptively
or in common mathematical
shorthand. The default is to provide
the descriptive names for the
functions. If you prefer the functions
to be presented in mathematical
shorthand, deselect this option.
