Run a
Program
From Home view, enter the name of the program. If the
program takes parameters, enter a pair of parentheses
after the program name with the parameters inside them
each separated by a comma. To run the program, press
E.
From the Program Catalog, highlight the program you
want to run and tap . When a program is executed
from the catalog, the system looks for a function named
START() (no parameters).
You can also run a
program from the USER
menu (one of the Toolbox
menus):
D
Tap MYPROGRAM
and MYPROGRAM
appears on the entry
line. Tap
E and the program executes,
displaying a message box.
Tap three
times to step through
the FOR loop. Notice
that the number
shown increments by
1 each time.
After the program
terminates, you can
resume any other activity with the HP Prime.
If a program has arguments, when you press a
screen appears prompting you to enter the program
parameters.
