[TX Report]: The transmission results can be printed out as a
report.
This function can be set to one of the following:
“Default”, “Output On” and “Output Off” or “If TX
Fail”.
The TX Report setting is reset after each
transmission. Refer to “Specifying Report Output
Settings” on page 13-41
[2in1]: Scans of two document pages can be sent as a
single page. This can be used, for example, to
combine two legal-size document pages and
send them as one legal-size page.
[2-Sided TX]: Double-sided document pages can be scanned
and sent.
The 2-Sided TX setting is reset after each
transmission. Refer to “Specifying Transmission
Settings” on page 13-21.
[Rotation TX]: You normally feed your document to the reader
as “portrait”, so when you set the letter-size
document as “landscape”, the reader handles it
as ledger-size document, and it gets reduced at
reception when the recipient facsimile paper is
letter size.
If you setup Rotation TX, you can send letter-size
documents as a letter-size document whether its
direction is landscape or portrait. Rotation TX is
valid only when you send letter-size documents
with under 200 dpi image quality setting, by the
normal facsimile or Internet Fax (E-mail)
transmission. The Rotation TX setting is
canceled after each transmission.
Refer to “Specifying Transmission Settings” on
page 13-21.
[Priority TX]: If documents are queued for transmission, a
document specified as urgent can be given
priority and sent.
[Timer]: A document can be scanned and stored in the
memory to be sent at a specified time. This
function is convenient for sending documents at
discounted calling times.
