15.1 Using the View Log Screen - Continued
The following table describes the labels in the screen on the preceding page.
View Log

Select a log category from the drop down list box to display logs within the selected
category. To view all logs, select
All Logs.
The number of categories shown in the drop

This fi eld displays the time the log was recorded.

15.2 Confi guring Log Settings
To change your WR3000 Wireless Router’s log settings, click
ADVANCED, LOGS
and then the
Log Settings
tab. The screen appears as shown.
Use the Log Settings screen to confi gure to where the WR3000 Wireless Router is to send the
logs; the schedule for when the WR3000 Wireless Router is to send the logs and which logs
and/or immediate alerts the WR3000 Wireless Router is to send.
An alert is a type of log that warrants more serious attention. They include system errors,
attacks (access control) and attempted access to blocked web sites or web sites with restricted
attacks (access control) and attempted access to blocked web sites or web sites with restricted
web features such as cookies, Active X and so on. Some categories such as System Errors
consist of both logs and alerts. You may differentiate them by their color in the View Log screen.
Alerts are displayed in red and logs are displayed in black.
